LOS ANGELES - The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation hosted its 21st Annual Turkey Giveaway today at the Oscar De La Hoya nimo Charter High School to lend a helping hand to East Los Angeles families as they celebrate Thanksgiving this year. The Foundation served turkeys to 600 families today and distributed an additional 150 turkeys to local organizations, churches and Green Dot Public Schools.

Mayweather Promotions has done this for years - but he doesn't need the spotlight on it, unlike Oscar.

Not backing Mayweather at all, but it does seem like he does this stuff pretty regularly and, yeah, he doesn't need to "flaunt" his charitable behavior.

Never understood why people like to flaunt charity because it takes an event that's about helping other people...and makes it about yourself.

Kind of sad. Nonetheless at least DLH is helping !
