  • Comments Thread For: Joe Gallagher Pleads: No Callum Smith vs. Braehmer in Germany

Joe Gallagher, trainer of undefeated super middleweight contender Callum Smith, is pleading for a neutral venue for the upcoming semi-final clash with former world champion Juergen Braehmer in the World Boxing Super Series. There has been some talk of Smith vs. Braehmer taking place in Germany - which gives the veteran the homefield advantage. According to Gallagher, neither boxer should be allowed to get a home venue advantage in the fight.

joe dont get above your station, you aren't the promoter you priq! LOL.

The fact of the matter is, you are scared of losing to an old veteran. LOL. Can't be world class if you can't be the old vet, LOL.

Joe can't win abroad anyway, how many times has he won in america? He's like a walking meal ticket for other promoters. The sooner hearn get's his head out your arse the better, and degale and groves will easily beat mundo, so get ready to pull out and fight a stiff for a vacant belt. LOL.

You just fought Skoglund in your backyard and now dont want to travel? If Callum who is so much taller and in his physical prime cant clearly beat a 40 year old Brähmer then forget about his career.

Braehmer's last fight was in Germany, Smith's in England.
So neutral for the Semi sounds fair to me.

Should be in Germany, cause Braehmer is the more distinguished boxer, plus he is near retirement. Smith don't want to fight anyone abroad, LOL, what a wuss.

Tesco Joe at it again. These days the UK is just as bad as Germany anyway. Saying that regardless of where WBSS has been, the cards have always been pretty fair IMO
