Comments Thread For: Hearn: Jarrell Miller 'One or Two' Fights From Fighting Joshua

UNIONDALE, New York Jarrell Miller apparently didn't do enough Saturday night to earn a shot at Anthony Joshua. Eddie Hearn, whose company promotes Joshua, said Miller is "probably one or two" wins away from facing Joshua for the British superstar's heavyweight titles. Hearn said before Brooklyn's Miller stopped Poland's Mariusz Wach on Saturday night that he would earn consideration as the next opponent for Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) if he established himself as an elite heavyweight by beating Wach impressively.

Good business for hearn but joshua won't like hearn signing heavyweights with his name on a verbal contract..with that being said..miller is a good fight for Joshua in the u.s..Joshua stops him for sure if he doesn't improve after fighting that way(slow and ponderous) against the likes of an out of shape mariusz wach.. Joshua tees off on his head every round till miller falls over or the fight gets stopped due to miller bloodied and disfigured face u.k style stoppage..the two most likely scenario

He's too easy to hit. I understand he has to talk tough for his gimmick, but after three or four AJ right hands it's all over. He is also probably looking to enter the Heavyweight lottery of AJ paydays. It would make more sense for him to get up in the WBA and try fight for their vacant World title or get a shot at whoever wins that vacant title.

I have not been impressed with Baby at all. He’s slow, and has short arms for being 6’4”. Not a big puncher at all. I just don’t see anything dynamic about his game. Best thing he’s got going for him is his mouth.

Shouldn’t be considered period for a Joshua fight

If Miller won't be the next fight for Joshua and they can't work something out with Parker, idk who AJ will fight next. Hopefully not a Whyte rematch. They're probably hoping Haye beats Bellew to put him up against AJ. That would be enormous amongst the casuals

Good. He's not ready. Now feed weak ass Whyte to him.
