  • Comments Thread For: Povetkin's Promoter: Stiverne Was in No Condition To Face Wilder

Promoter Andrei Ryabinsky of World of Boxing was shaking his head while watching last Saturday's rematch between WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder and mandatory challenger Bermane Stiverne, which took place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Coming back from a two year-layoff and weighing pretty heavy, Stiverne was dropped three times and knocked cold in the first round.

LMAO!!!! It wasn't safe for Stiverne to be fighting Wilder but it was safe for Wilder to fight his guy with all types of Roids & PED's pumped up in his veins.

I couldn’t careless if Stiverne turn down 1.4$ million after Povetkin failed another drug test. Why should he go ahead with that fight. Povetkin promoter chatting rubbish here again.

Equivalent to Wlad rematching Leapai. I wouldn't have bothered getting in shape either.

Perhaps he should of used the PEDs Povetkin uses in order to get in shape

Zero roids, one useless "PED". Ostarine actually works a bit but that was later.. but true enough, the fight would not have been safe for Wilder.

You mean the same month that Stiverne failed as well, that month?

                Embarrassing.

Body or no body, Stiverne had a chin. Wilder is getting better, Stiverne getting older.

The opening punch by Wilder was a clear ( unintentional ) shot to the back of Stivernes head ,wheather that actually made the difference who knows but in shape or not is irrelevant bc it was finished from the very start . What was clear it was a huge punch after the back off the head hit that Stiverne never recovered from after the first knock down.
