haymon was not brought in to help with hbo. wilder was under an exclusive gbp contract. haymon was brought in two years later when finkel handed over most of his fighters to haymon.

finkel retained a piece of those fighters and has returned to help with a few of them since empire didnt take off.
Handed most of his fighters to Haymon? The only fighters who went to Al when Shelly left was Wilder and Broner and Shelly never left Wilder's side. He's been at nearly every fight.

His other fighters all went to alternative managers.

Guerrero went to Haymon several years later. Mike Alvarado never went. Vanes went several years later. Victor Ortiz went several years later. Lara went several years later.

Hahahaha nearly every single one of Finkel's 20 fighters went to Haymon. It just wasn't announced all at once and most of them were given other co-managers.

Shelly wasn't legally able to "keep" Deontay due to the Ali act. Was only able to keep the Klitschkos because he only advised them on European activities where the Ali act wouldn't apply.

Shelly's fighters were put with people he trusted to not screw him since he couldn't maintain an on paper percentage with them. When Empire went belly up, he was able to pick and choose who he wanted to work with again. Haymon was advising a lot of fighters for a long time without the media ever knowing. Some of his "signings" didn't go public for years.

Alvarado and Vanes were NOT with Haymon. They were Top Rank fighters. Vanes went to Al years later and left just as quick. Victor was strictly with Rolando and went to Al years after the fallout with Rolando. Guerrero went with DeCubas Jr. and he was the one who brought in Haymon or at least takes full credit in interviews for doing so. The same with Lara, DeCubas Jr. says "he" brought in Haymon years later because Lara couldn't get fights.

You forget that Empire had an entire boxing division with Trout, Rahman, Briggs, etc.

If you recall, Briggs sued Shelly and Empire for millions claiming he was robbed in the Vitali fight.

Correct. Shelly sent the GBP fighters to Haymon. Pretty much all of his fighters went to Haymon except the TR fighters.

People take credit for a lot of things when they know the other party will never speak publicly.

Shelly's guys were with Haymon a long time before anybody knew. Things only needed to be made official once Al was seeking investors.

Not forgetting anything. That boxing division is the exact reason Shelly needed Al to take over his stable. With Empire promoting boxing, Shelly couldn't legally manage boxers anymore.

Ya I’m a fan of Wilder but I try to be objective and reasonable. I tend to call it how I see it. But I can’t stand the trolling from the British fans. You can tell that country isn’t used to having superstar fighters.

If you read between the lines here he's really lowkey trashing DiBella as a powerless sham promoter who jumps when Al Haymon tells him to, which is 100℅ truth lol.

DiBella was trashing him a couple of weeks ago. Hearn is responding to that, but he's smarter than Dibella so he's doing it subtly.
