Comments Thread For: Joshua, Hearn To Meet on Tuesday To Plan Out Fights For 2018

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport has booked a meeting with WBA, IBO, IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) to map out the boxer's 2018 campaign. Joshua had a massive 2017. First he packed in a record 90,000 fans to Wembley in London to watch him stop Wladimir Klitschko in the eleventh round of a Fight of The Year contender, and then he came back last Saturday night in Cardiff and put away Carlos Takam in the tenth, which took place before another record crowd of 78,000 at Principality.

What a load of ****. Hearn making excuses to avoid wilder already.

Its disgraceful cherry picking by AJ as usual.

They either scared of wilder or scared of drug testing

A meeting about how to trick the Brits that Tyson fury is a super fight and undermine the WBC champ so they can avoid him and drug testing as long as possible

lol I keep saying Wilder won't happen to Late 2018 earliest don't even be surprised if it's pushed back to 2019.

I could easily see the 3 fighta fights being Miller, Parker, Haye.

Hearn loves a domestic match and if Haye stops bellew that will happens some point as that generates more money in the UK than any fight other than Fury.

Takam was a mando right? So all he needs now is to fight the IBF mandatory and he is free for the summer (Fury? Wilder? Miller?), it would be nice to see him fight someone like Miller in America.

If Haye stops Bellew, i think Wilder should go after Haye. He really does need a name on his resume. Like Bellew told Wilder to his face "I have better resume at HW in 1 fight than you do in almost 40 fights"
