Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua - Heavyweight Division's New One-Man Show

By Tris Dixon - Mike Tyson is currently on the second round of his one-man show in Las Vegas but in the heavyweight division there is now only one show that can attract thousands upon thousands of fans. Tyson, in his storybook beginning, his menacing best and his psychotic worst was must-see TV, a box office icon you could not take your eyes of. You had to know what happened in his fights if you were to be able to maintain a conversation with anyone on the street the following day...

And the WBC wants to thin it out, dilute it even more by creating a 'super' heavyweight division. It really has taken another severe battering.

Two or so years ago, when Tyson Fury was active - the division was so full of promise. It looked like a revival was in the making. But no, in that time, bye bye Lucas Browne, Povetkin, Fury, then Ortiz and Whyte looked anything but a world-beater against Helenius.
Miller is pretty much the last contender fans are interested or curious to see test the three belt holders. I don't think Wilder will travel to the UK to fight AJ ever, but I can see Parker doing it, because at least he has shown the willingness.

True, Fury needs to come back because AJ wont have many opponents to fight soon.

A fully fit David Haye is the only man who can beat AJ. If he can smash Bellew to bits and then take Parker's belt we'll see that fight one day.

He's in danger of becoming too amiable. Personally, I want my heavyeight champs to be unhinged and capable of going off at any moment. There's no chance of that with the new grandmother's favourte AJ. All his interviews and press conferences are now boring as hell. I'd like to hear him start to turn the heat up on Beyonce Wilder.

Look at this hating ass b*tch.

The dope-dealing mummy is scared to even mention Wilder's name.
The crowd chanted 'Wilder Wilder' during his post fight interview.

                  AJ ignored them.

I thought nobody knew who Wilder is???
