Comments Thread For: Hearn: Three Fights For Joshua in 2018, Including Overseas Bout

Anthony Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn wants to take the world heavyweight champion overseas after his 10th round win over Carlos Takam Saturday. Joshua retained his, International Boxing Organization, International Boxing Federation and World Boxing Association heavyweight titles after stopping Takam at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

It's so obvious what they should do:

Feb 2018 - Joshua vs Miller - US
    May/June 2018 - Joshua vs Wilder - US
Oct 2018 - Joshua vs Parker - UK

I agree but they will probably leave Joshua vs Wilder to the end of the year.

Other fights I would like to see next year:

Whyte vs Wilder or Takam vs Brezeale.

      Pulev vs Wilder

      Oh and:

      Povetkin vs Ortiz in Russia

Thats ******. Why wouldnt wilder or joshua fight Parker first? So when wilder joshua fight it will be a unification. Joseph parker is trying to sit on that belt. Its time for him to fight.

Hearn will never put AJ in there with Wilder.
Ya'll better forget about that fight.

I agree with the miller fight in New York in March.

However I think they fight Parker before wilder in a summer stadium fight in the U.K.

Wilder won't happen until the end of year at earliest and I think that will be a Vegas fight.

Smart tactical move by Hearn. He knew he would have to fight a mandatory if Pulev pulled out. So Joshua vs Mandatory will be AJ last fight on the Showtime contract. Look for Joshua vs Ustinov or Miller in mid 2018 on HBO

"I'm just focusing on keeping my belts, who ever that is on the WBA list that's who it is," Joshua told reporters.

              1. Luis Ortiz
              2. Alex Ustinov
              3. Fres Oquando
              4. Manuel Charr
              5. Alexander PedVetkin
              6. Christan Hammer
              7. Jarell Miller

Well Ustinov is fighting Charr and it looks like Oquendo is fighting Pulev in Chicago from reports for wba regular belt.... povetkin is also fighting hammer in Russia in December as a possible wbo mandatory fight for Parker so I think it will be Miller.

Hearn mentioned Millers name recently aswell as a US debut fight.

I think that's likely to be in March and from recent interviews hearn doesn't have any plans on moving AJ to HBO anytime soon.
