Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder Will Be Relieved of His Belt in 2018 By Joshua

Eddie Hearn has thrown down the gauntlet to Deontay Wilder. The promoter of Anthony Joshua, who watched from ringside as the Olympic gold medallist retained his IBF, IBO and WBA Super heavyweight world titles at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday, said that the fight must happen as part of a three-fight plan to clean up in the division.

        Parker first before Wilder..

AJ Vs Wilder should be the biggest epic fight.

Joshua is not the same fighter he use to be. After getting smashed to the ground by Klitschko you can tell he's lost a bit of self confidence. Now would be a good time for Wilder to fight AJ.

Lol, he's maturing as a fighter. Make no mistake he could have taken Takam out in the 4th but you have to learn from your mistakes. Wilder han't fought anyone even near the level of Klitschko so there is no real way to guage what he's actually like.......I just don't understand how you let a HW fight 40 fights without fighting a top 10 HW....what has happened to American boxing?

America needs a new Don King. Someone like England's Eddie Hearn who in partnership with Sky Sports has launched a huge booom in boxing in the UK.

That's the worst excuse I've heard for not making the fight. It doesn't need any building up.

Don't see it. But if it didn't happen of course wilder would be lucky to make it to the second round with Joshua
