18-year old super lightweight Oliver Meng impressed in his debut with a points win over Spaniard Iriome Penate, 3-1-2, Penate was down in the first, second and at the end of the fourth and final round but still made a fight of it as he kept coming and had his best round in the fourth when stunned by a short right. Meng jumped on his opponent and floored him with a barrage of punches as the bell rang. It was scored 40-33 on all cards.
