Comments Thread For: Calzaghe: Fury Would Be Tougher Fight for Joshua Than Wilder

Joe Calzaghe is looking forward to watching Anthony Joshua perform Saturday night in what's considered Calzaghe's home stadium. The Welsh legend will reflect fondly on his own huge fight at Principality Stadium when he attends Joshua's heavyweight title fight against Carlos Takam on Saturday night in Cardiff, Wales. That's the venue, then known as Millennium Stadium, where the retired Calzaghe won his super middleweight title unification fight against Denmark's Mikkel Kessler in November 2007.

I agree with Joe Anthony would have a tougher time versus an old , fat, out-of-shape, druggie...

Fighting has-beens coming off long layoffs is Joshua’s MO.

Wilder would not be a challenge for any elite HW.

Forget it Joe. The days when Fury could be a problem to Joshua are long gone. Joshua wins by knockout. Fury is a good boxer and big but not a concussive puncher. Joshua will get him down, make no mistake about that.

No it wouldn't be a tougher fight because Fury would have a drug induced meltdown sometime during training camp and not make the bout.

This has got to be one of the dumbest comments that I have ever heard a former boxer make!!! You mean to tell me a depressed Alcoholic/******* Addict who is fat and out of shape at nearly 300 pounds and hasn't fought in nearly 2 years is more of a challenge than a current champion who is in fighting shape with an almost perfect 100% KO percentage in Deontay Wilder!!!! Man the guy who interviewed you should have you tested or banned from commenting on boxing ever again!!!

Wilder wouldn't/won't fare well against Joshua if he goes bombs-away, but then I think (prime, PED'ed) Fury would do a Klitschko job on both of them.

But that obviously won't happen because...
