Things have gone south lately. The Povetkin and Ortiz fights were solid missed opportunities. Although Whyte is a step down in comp, if Eddie guaranteed him $7 million, he should seriously consider that.

I will concede that the UK is on fire right now boxing wise, but stop acting like its the center of the universe, Whyte is irrelevant is in the US, this is about ducking the bomber. I know there's lots of fanboys on here who don't want to hear it but most UK fans don't know much about Wilder, or should I say most UK casual boxing fans don't.
I'm not gonna bash wilder he seems the best out of everyone bar AJ in my mind.
If he did fight Whyte and beat him that would get him noticed by more UK fans and would build the fight between him and AJ a lot more, and at the end of the day that's what Hearn wants, more ppv buys.
It's simple, only fanboys can't see it.
