Comments Thread For: DeGale: Badou Jack is Not in My Class at All - I Want Rematch!

IBF super middleweight champion James DeGale (23-1-1, 14 KOs) is still itching for a rematch with Badou Jack (22-1-2, 13 KOs). The two collided in January, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, in a very anticipated unification. At the time Jack was the WBC champion at 168. Jack went down in the first round, and DeGale went down in the twelfth. The fight closed in a twelve round draw, with two judges scoring the bout even and the third 114-112 for Jack.

Move up to 175 then. Win a belt. I'm sure that fight could be lined up again. Personally I thought Jack shoulda gotten the nod in that one.

I'm with you! DeGale should fight Zurdo Ramirez, the winner of Benavidez/Gavril, and then move up to 175! 175 is loaded!

Always pedalling the not 100% fully fit on my game excuse. Give it a rest!
Don't think he's serious about moving up given he immediately after starts listing reasons why he should stay at current weight.
I reckon he's just feeling left out with the all the attention groves and eubank are getting and opening his mouth to say nothing much.

It was a good fight, the top two SMW'S going at it. I enjoyed it.

I thought a draw was a fair result. Going into the 12th i remember thinking DeGale just had to stay on his feet to win the fight, but of course then came the KD.

I wouldn't be against DeGale moving up for a rematch. I'd prefer to see him face some of the guys at 168 though :
                  Groves, Eubank, Smith, Ramirez, Benavidez.
