Mikkel Kessler has been forced to delay his comeback after contracting Lyme Borreliosis - a bacterial infection spread to humans by infected ticks. The former five-time World Champion had announced his plans to come out of retirement earlier this year and was expected to make his long awaited return to the ring in November. However, the Danish boxing icon was struck down by a mystery illness whilst in training camp, and was later admitted to hospital where following multiple tests it was revealed that he had Lyme Borreliosis.

Good to hear that he is motivated, I hope it is not the money that's doing that to him. Had Froch come back too, they could've done the third and rode off into the sunset. Now something is just a little off, with this whole comeback.'

But ofcourse I support the Viking. One hundred procent. A true gentleman of the ring.

Thankfully they caught it as early as they did. Later on, it could have gotten much worse. I still think an ill Kessler would have destroyed the Patrick we saw Saturday.
I think if we gave the tick boxing gloves on, it might have an even fight with Patrick.

Definitely not a chance that Patrick Nielsen could ever beat Kessler. At least I can not see it.

          I've always like Miguel kesseler.
Andre Ward beat him with head buts and a few low blows.
          Don't think he mentally recovered.

Miguel Kesseler is very happy to hear that.
