Comments Thread For: Marco Huck To Continue Career, in Heavyweight Division

Former WBO cruiserweight king Marco Huck is not about to hang up the gloves and tells BILD that he will continue his career next year in the heavyweight division. Huck fought then WBA champ Alexander Povetkin back in 2012 and came close to an upset but it must be said that Povetkin was pretty much out of shape for that fight.

Captain Huck... that fight with Glowacki took a lot from him. He would have won had he made it to the 12th. Loved watching him fight.

Huck needs to retire. I foresee him beating some bs opponents and at best maybe a journeyman or fringe contender, before getting KO'd by a legit guy.

i guess he doesnt have enough $ to retire yet? and has been told ' the money is at HW'

Problem is no title holder will fight him obviously so what does that leave? getting KO'd by a prospect like Dubois or someone?

Maybe a rematch with povetkin would be fun..

huck beat povetkin which exposes the whole smaller heavyweights from the past couldnt compete with these bigger guys. big slow oafs are big and slow. huck looked like whitaker against povetkin but looked like a big slow oaf himself at cruiser
