Chris Eubank Jr produced a clinical display to stop Avni Yildirim inside three rounds of the first fight of the super-middleweight edition of the World Boxing Super Series in Stuttgart. Eubank Jr, the IBO champion, maintained his momentum from a strong start when the Turk was almost felled by a right upper cut in the opening round, dropping to his knee before taking a standing count.

He's an athletic kid, no doubt about that.

Just needs to make sure to keep polishing his boxing skills too, not just his body.

Keep fighting bums and over the hill fighters Eubank. The second he steps in with a legitimate fighter he will get his ass slept.

The body comes from polishing his boxing skills.

Why are they talking about him fighting benavidez? Isn't Eubank fighting the winner of groves/cox... or can he take fights in between tournament fights?

He needs to polish them some more. So that he isn't so reliant on the uppercuts and so that he has more variety when in close, apart from just clinching.

Don't get me wrong. I like the guy and think he has good talent and potential but I just want to see him continue to improve and develop.

I had read somewhere that the winner of the WBSS would be mandatory to Benavidez.
