Lewis Ritson produced an emphatic stoppage win against Robbie Barrett to claim the British lightweight title. The unbeaten Newcastle fighter dominated Barrett, 25, from the first bell and after dropping the Yorkshireman on four occasions at the Manchester Arena claimed the belt after the champion's corner threw in the towel.

Lmao! 116-112 Eggington is a terrible card, will be swept under rug though because right guy won.

Another Hearn guy gets found out.

Hearn knows nothing about how to pick Boxing talent at the ground level, Warren is heads above him on that level.

            Ah well. I like Sam.

He needs to rebuild. Probably move up in weight. He had no engine tonight which is his main attribute.

Someone said Malignaggi was going to be the peak of Eggington's career. This appears to be true.

Got bashed up. That Ritson looks a talent

Egg well beaten tonight. Feel he should move up but dont see him being a force at 154 without his size advantage. Be interesting to see how his career pans out from here.
