There are ongoing discussions to see Lemieux (38-3, 33 KO) collide with four division world champion Miguel Cotto (41-5, 33 KO), who headlines that event. But whether or not Lemieux and Cotto will face each other on the card or appear in separate fights is up in the air.

That's coherent with what I've heard earlier today. I was listening to Réjean Tremblay earlier today on the radio, a Montreal journalist who is an "insider" for the Quebec/Montreal boxing scene. Réjean said that he has spoken recently to Camille Estephan (the head of Eye of the Tiger Management EOTTM, Lemieux's promoter). I don't exactly know what's the deal between EOTTM and GBP). Camille has told Réjean that Lemieux vs Cotto has a very slim chance of happening. However, HBO is apparently interested to have Lemieux headlining his own card on December 16th if the opponent is worthy. Réjean mentioned that BJS is a possibility but money and other demands could be an issue. Réjean mentioned that BJS has demanded around 2 mil and other demands but he didn't elaborate on those "other demands". To be honest, Réjean wasn't clear as to whether the 2 mil was his own speculation or what he's been told.

Réjean also said that Stevenson vs Jack still has a very good chance of happening

I am assuming he won't even consider Charlo who should be available.
