    When Andre Ward recently retired it opened up the WBA, WBO and IBF light heavyweight titles and when Badou Jack vacated his WBA "regular" title the division became even more wide open. Red hot contender Sullivan Barrera was very confident that he would get a shot at one of the vacant belts. So naturally his jaw dropped when he heard that Dmitry Bivol would face Trent Broadhurst for the vacant WBA title on November 4th.

          Barrera deserves to be fighting for that title. I hope he sues the WBA.

              Wouldn't be surprised if Main Events is behind this. They don't have many fighters and can't afford for any of them to take losses.

                      Eddie Hearn is behind this...getting some bum for Bivol to fight.

                      Main Events would jump at this title shot especially as Barrera would beat Bivol pretty handily.

                              Co promotes Bivol according to this story. Looks like some dirty politics. Why is Eddie Hearn even doing this fight? Does he have the Australian bum?

                                  I don't believe Bivol is a Hearn fighter. He's that Russian promoter and Main Events fighter.
