James DeGale is targeting a return to the ring before the end of the year. The IBF super-middleweight world champion took to social media to announce that he is punching again after shoulder surgery. DeGale (23-1-1, 14 KOs) has been out of the ring since January when he held on to his crown by the skin of his teeth following a draw against then-WBC champion Badou Jack in a unification showdown at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Not many options for DeGale with the WSB in play. Cant see him jumping into a fight with Benavidez or Ramirez after the injury lay off. Wouldn't be surprised if he got Tyrone Zeuge though
