If all goes well, Miguel Berchelt could be making the second defense of the World Boxing Council super featherweight title against ex-champion Orlando 'Siri' Salido in the first quarter of 2018 in California, according to the information provided Mexican promoter Fernando Beltran, who works with both boxers. The boss of Zanfer Promociones said that they still expect to make some moves before setting down the next defense for Berchelt, while Salido will be lined up for a stay busy fight in the month of November against a Puerto Rican fighter in New York.

130 bout the ******est division. 3 of the 4 title holders are on HBO. None of them will fight each other doe. Wut in the f#ck. Hell 2 of them just co-headlined a show together. Not gonna fight each other doe. And Loma calls out the only title holder NOT on HBO. Wut the f#ck.

3 out of 4 on HBO? WTF? Let's see. Tank is on Showtime. Corrales fought once in his career on HBO. Lomachenko is on ESPN. Berchelt's last few fights have been on HBO. Berchelt is the only HBO fighter.

Loma is moving up soon. IBF title is vacant, so division is still wide open

Berchelt vs Salido is an easy sell on any network and would sell well on the west coast.

I still don't get why this division doesn't have some eventual unification bout in the works.

Golden Boy does business with Zanfer and are on the same network as Top Rank with there ESPN deal.

It shouldn't be this difficult to come to an agreement.

Love Salido, can always count on an exciting fight with him, but Berchelt is too young, fresh and strong. Berchelt probably ends Salido sadly

think this could be really good if salido has anything left after his 4 foty candidate fights i think bercheldt was a little dull unlike his bandido fight in his last bout was a cas of repcting the japanes dude forgot his name power but i think thats not going to be the case if this fight gets done bercheldt knows damn well of salidos proneness to getting k.d. so hell go for it this time ala vargas bout and if salido has at least 1 good effort left in him hell come in weighing close to 150 and go for broke i wish it would happe3n meaning the fight but at the same time no bcause salido seems these guys offer him 100 grand and know he used to take it end up with half when all said and done so i kinda feel bad when hes the challenger gives his all and then some and ends up not always losing but unable to win title bcause a freaking draw like the ****ty roman martinez rmatch.
