    Did his older brother Jose retire? I remember when Jose and Frankie Gomez were supposed to be the next big things in boxing. Seems like they both faded off.. kinda sad but can't help to wonder about the what if's for both of them.

      The way Benavidez described his camp, he made it seem like 8 week/2-month training camps are particularly long. 8-10 week training camps are common from the top fighters. I'm looking forward to this card. I hope to see good work from Caleb Plant also. He could be the goods.

        Jose got shot in Phoenix and Frankie hit the pookie and hasn't been the same since.

          No he got **** in the leg last year and it was never really reported. I know because im from his city. Jose has one of the best us ameteur backgrounds in years and hrs still young.
