Crossing continental Europe one couldn't find a better place for world championship boxing than Hamburg, Germany, arguably the birthplace (or, at least, the citadel) of the German boxing. It's where the nineteenth installment of AIBA WC tournaments had taken its place from Aug. 25 to Sep. 2.

With The ***** Administration doing away with "Wet Foot/Dry Foot" I don't know of any other way that these boxers could box pro, unless if they went to live in another country. Boxers like Julio la Cruz damn near look bored boxing at this level.

What's going on with Robeisy Ramirez? He's been put on the shelf a lot... Even after winning another gold medal in Rio last year. This is him chillin' in the streets drankin' while his teammates were in Germany:

And Robiesy is the best of them all, why are they hiding him.

Oleksandr Khyzhniak dominated the rest ! He was nominated as the best boxer in this tournament. Hopefully he turns pro very soon. With 22 he has already 550 amateur fights and looks like a force at Middleweight or Super Middleweight.

If Robiesy Ramirez turned pro he could very well pick up a title in his very first pro fight.

Only 22 yrs old and already a two time Olympic champion, he took shakur stevenson to school in rio.

            That's how good he is.

He's looked like a beast since he moved down to MW.

              Very entertaining to watch

Apparently he is a very inconsistent trainer and isnt always in the best shape. Injury problems as well.

I suspect he wants to go pro and cant. No major evidence why, he just seems like that kind of person who would love the glamour and attention of the pro ranks.

Brit team still in transition after the post Olympic exodus.

Some talent there but need a lot of maturing.

Havent seen his final but was impressed when i saw Ragan of the USA. Could be a big Gold hope for the next Olympics if he goes. If not i would be very interested to see him as a pro

Joe Ward should definitely look at going pro next. Unless JCLC gets injured or something he will always be the bridesmaid in that division. Still only 23 and he has achieved brilliant things in the Am game. 3 X Euro champ, 2 X WC Silver and 1Xbronze. He is always going to come across La Cruz at some point in the World level international tourneys

Tishenko lost a decision as well

Had to happen eventually i guess.

Savon is really starting to fulfil his potential. His fight with Clarke was a vicious schooling at times
