This isnt a movie. Beating Canelo wont give you all of his PPV numbers or ability to charge higher rates on gates to sell more. It takes a certain personality and/or built in fan base, being able to speak english, having ppl who both hate and like you to become a super star. None of the ppl in the current top 15 are going to be a super star. Able to sale 1-2 million per showing. You need to become a villian or have a villian that you can eventually fight.

There's a reason why Sanchez has limited showing... only shows Gennady hitting a pillow with hooks. Truth is Gennady's style is purely Russian regimen and Sanchez' role is merely just marketing and exploiting JCC's name and "Mexican style" for his own game. Karma is approaching.

Hoya and Canelo, were both future/potential stars at a young age..... with Hoya being the Golden Boy coming off his Olympic win, and Canelo turning pro at 15

Mayweather is similar, and with him we see that element you spoke of..... but we don't see any of those things with Pac, who is arguably only second to Mayweather in terms of figures

maybe Oscar would disagree with that

not sure if anyone really knows the exact formula

how did Mayweather become so huge ?

Golovkin is white, has an attractive style to fans, and he comes off like a great guy..... and yet cannot seem to tick the PPV boxes
