    In the aftermath of Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao, which took place in May of 2015, dozens of angry fans filed lawsuits against the networks and the fight promoters - because the consumers were looking for refunds and some wanted damages. The lawsuits were prompted when Pacquiao revealed that he entered the fight with a pre-existing shoulder injury. In the United States, the pay-per-view ran nearly $100 in HD.

    LOL no case here for this one. Streaming LIVE HD event is way more taxing to your bandwith than something from netflix or youtube. Guy kinda gave himself up on that one.

                  Very expensive lawsuit to counter and defend. Might as well refund the money with no questions asked. Otherwise, they would have to investigate each and everyone of the complaints, which would cost hundreds of thousands of dollars, if not millions.

                    And there is another class action lawsuit in the works directly at the UFC who sold PPVs for their streaming app UFC.tv and it completely crippled the server at 9pm when the PPV went live preventing everyone from watching. Literally thousands of tweets at Dana White and the UFC who refused to comment on it.
