Miguel Cotto (41-5, 33 KOs), the only four-division world champion in Puerto Rico's rich boxing history, earned his sixth world title with a unanimous decision victory against the Japanese slugger Yoshihiro "El Maestrito" Kamegai (27-4-2, 24 KOs) for the vacant WBO Junior Middleweight World Title in front of a sold-out crowd of 7,689 boxing fans at the StubHub Center in Carson, Calif. The judges scored the bout 119-109, 118-110, and 120-108 in favor of Cotto.

Miguel is getting touched like this early in the fight with Kamegai and his trainers want him to fight two of the hardest punchers in the sport a weight above...I like it.

IT will be a glorious End to this legends career. Death by way of GGG, then retirement.

....not a bad idea because if he fights one of the other middleweight champions or a contenders, he'll get knocked the fcuk out...besides, like someone mentioned earlier, Cotto is the king of the vacant titles...and since Puerto Rico didn't have a champion, he got the WBO BELT(organization from here in Puerto Rico)...he'll fight another nobody in December because they want to make sure he retires a champion...ya esta planchadito...

Well that has to be at 154 so Miguel can defend his belt.
