Comments Thread For: Lipinets Rips Indongo, Says IBF Title Was 'Stolen' From Him

Sergey Lipinets isn’t nearly as impressed with Terence Crawford’s demolition of Julius Indongo as most people who witnessed it. Lipinets immediately took to Twitter to dog Indongo following Crawford’s third-round knockout victory Saturday night in Lincoln, Nebraska. Crawford dropped Indongo in the second round and finished off the previously unbeaten Namibian southpaw with a paralyzing, perfect left land to the right side of Indongo’s body in the third round.

Now, if we want to try and pedestal Crawford, he'll murk this guy real quick, just to prove a point to the IBF, THEN move up.

        Who???

I'm certain Crawford would be happy to spank him. But surely there are bigger fish to fry now?

I don't get how it is stealing if he is more likely now to pick up that strap. I was under the impression that stealing is when you take something and that thing never comes back, if someone takes something from someone else that you wanted and leaves it laying outside your house for you to freely pick up (or fight some random person for who isn't that good at fighting) that does not fall under my definition of getting stole from.

Even is Crawford stays at 140 he will not be able to hold onto all the belts some will slip away, I assume given that he is with Top Rank he will defend the WBO and maybe the WBC because he seems to like the green belt. The other two at this point he can let walk and they will have to come back to see him down the road.

I would kind of prefer for Crawford to go 147 but those fights are not the easiest to make. Thurman or Spence and Crawford could be decent money though those guys have been heavily featured and the winner will be in really money making position so some of that could really get put aside because there is a real chance to get ahead.

He okay'd it by accepting the step aside fee so idk what he's mad about now.

He very likely could end up fighting Indongo next for a vacant title as my expectation if Crawford will move up & if he doesn't move up Lipinets gots Crawford next so he shouldn't be mad at fighting for all the belts & likely for more money then he was going to get vs Indongo.

Stop the whingeig ya eedjit. You either get a shot at Crawford next (and an absolute ****ing spanking thrown in for free) or if Crawford moves on you get some other joker. These genuine unifications have become almost once in a generation fights so you take them when you can (even if it was an anticlimax).

That would be a fun fight and another win for TC.

I have no desire to see Crawford fight anyone at jr welterweight not named Mikey Garcia. If it ain't Mikey, move up.

I would be all for Crawford smashing this fool as the Horn vs Pac 2 undercard. Crawford is supposed to be in Australia anyway to promote a fight with the winner he might as well stay busy and crush this joker while he is there.
