Shakur Stevenson continued the impressive start to his pro career Saturday night. The 2016 Olympic silver medalist improved to 3-0 by easily out-boxing David Michel Paz in a six-round featherweight fight in Lincoln, Nebraska. The 20-year-old Stevenson, a top prospect from Newark, New Jersey, won by the same score, 60-53, on all three scorecards at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Argentina's Paz slipped to 4-4-1.

I would try and be optimistic to call it a chess match or whatever but the opponent was so thoroughly dominated that it was a snoozer.

All I hear about is his talent, but he's still working on it... I hope. He's talking about the lion skin in lion country.

So who is taking over Boxing? Both Stevenson and Davis are the ones claiming it. I know Stevenson is young but I think Davis has shown more to me in his earlier fights as a comparison. Davis is way more dynamic to me. I much more enjoy watching Davis over Stevenson.

The kid needs a publicity agent or something because when you say things like you are "taking over boxing" but can't KO fighters a young Floyd or even Davis would of starched it's not a good look.

Stevenson is a good fighter but I think Floyd was light years ahead of this kid coming out of the am's. His lack of power is also troublesome honestly I feel like they should take it slow with the kid because something tells me he's gonna get hurt if put it with the wrong guy too quickly...
