But it was announced on Thursday that Porter would be bowing out due to personal reasons which included the passing of a family member.

I think this fight is gonna happen. The build-up is gonna be great with Kenny and Angel, the fight itself will be fireworks as well. Shawn will be too active and too strong for Swift.

2 me Danny did not look that good against Thurman he had his opportunities and he either waited too long or lost them ...w/ Porter I see him just in that same style coming right at him and I think it's going to be too much for Garcia to handle... Porter wins the fight...

Danny has no problem getting opponents at 47. Porter missed a chance to be active. Imagine if it was Broner that did this. Everyone would be critical regardless of the reason. Fans were expecting to see Showtime but it didn't happen. The show will go on but I wouldn't be suprised if only half the would be watchers tuned in to watch Dulorme vs whoever that replacement is. Life does happen. I think part of the reason Porter gets a pass is because he has a solid resume and this was a soft touch compared to his recent level of competition. Hopefully he gets it together because he needs to be more active.
