Interesting fight, what will Barroso have after a long layoff and moving up in weight? He was viewed as a top 5 guy at 135 before the loss to Crolla. I would think Cano should beat the Argentine, but he was pretty competitive with Michael Perez his last time out. Wonder if GB is setting up the winners of these 2 fights to go at it, especially considering Cano/Maldonado was close the 1st time around

Barroso long lay off might affect him.

Barroso had the English lions on the run. If it wasn't for Crolla, he would have held all sorts of bragging rights plus a title. Some times, just stopping a threat is a big deal.

I guess Golden Boy Promotions on ESPN is winding down since this is on ESPN Deportes & ESPN3 only.

it's airing on ESPN that's the English broadcast, the Spanish broadcast is on ESPN Deportes and the undercard fights before the broadcast is streaming on ESPN3. The last ESPN card with Herrera/Karass just generated the second highest rating for the entire series. Which is why ESPN has been bumping their cards from ESPN2 to the main ESPN channel. The series was originally supposed to be on ESPN2. The last 3 cards golden boy has announced have all been ESPN cards including this one.
