Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Lomachenko's True Potential Will Be Found at 135

One of my favourite current boxers will, I am sure, continue to do what he does best this weekend and prove that he is right up there when it comes to the debate of who, exactly, is the best in the business. Live and exclusive on BoxNation, the great Vasyl Lomachenko defends his WBO world super featherweight title against the 25-2 Colombian Miguel Marriaga.

the fans want him to fight any of the top guys at 130--ALL of thise fights would make us happy. of course were all excited for the possibility of lomachenko- garcia or rigondeaux, size disparity or not. hell moat ofnus were really hopin for that salido rematch.

BUT bob arum is too busy workin on pacquiao-bradley IV and horn-pacquiao III to give us a lomachenko fight we actually want.

to be fair, they delivered on walters, who priced himself out of that fight first time around. a step up would be berchelt, who is damn good, on fire now and demonstrated some real depth and smart strategy against miura.

and gervonta davis has already pre emptively ducked lomachenko.

We want Garcia!

And if Loma isn't confident enough to start off 135 against Mikey then he could fight Linares or Beltran!

I am sure too that he will beat the featherweight coming from a loss and I am sure he'll keep ducking everyone who could be a threat..uncle arum is a master of feeding his hyped up divas with damaged goods

Lomachenko's true potential will be found when he leaves Top Rank and mixes it with the other best fighters around his weightclass

Until he does all we'll hear of are failed fights with opponents who are either 'ducking him' or 'pricing themselves out' while he fights Marriaga after Marriaga

Keep in mind that Lomachenko is a natural Lightweight. He won Olympic Gold 2012 at Lightweight (132). He fought all 5 bouts at WSB in 2012/13 at Lightweight (135) !

You are right. Top Rank has no excuses if they put another bum infront of Loma in December. His next fight HAS TO be against a decent opponent like Rigondeaux,Flanagan or Garcia. The other 130 Champs don't want to fight him. Berchelt is anyway out injured.

This dirtbag frank warren is pathetic in his worship of ONLY brits/white fighters, this is him right about when he started writing this bs
looks just like him too. He hates on everything not meeting those criteria. Besides he should be too busy fixing fights for his overhyped eurobums.

I'm not the biggest Frank Warren fan, but you are talking massive horse manure. If you follow his aticles on here, you would know how highly he talks of people like Crawford. He has been shouting about him from his prospect days and in fact it was one of his articles around that time which made me start following him. Not to mention opinions on other fighters from the past. For that reason I have to call BS on you.
