Comments Thread For: Golovkin Expects Canelo Bout To Be Better Than Jacobs Clash

Gennady Golovkin is now in camp in Big Bear with trainer Abel Sanchez preparing for his September 16th assignment against Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (49-1-1, 34 KOs). "It's been two weeks, maybe this time I'm more excited, it's more serious for me. It's my biggest fight, I feel more emotion for this fight,"said Golovkin on Wednesday afternoon, who has yearned for a fight of this magnitude since coming over to America in 2012.

Don't think Canelo will try and "finesse" his way to a points win...ala Jacobs and his trainers gameplan.

Ggg better start cutting down on those interviews and focus on training for the ko. The main powers that be in charge of this fight are golden boy and hbo. Neither of them want ggg to win so a decision win is not probable for him.

Must have been a terrible strategy. People thought Danny won and Canelo's balls finally dropped afterwards...

A suprisingly easy win for GGG. Sorry to piss you poor Latinos off who have all a sudden jumped on this red headed diva catch weight queen bandwagon after you guys ripped him for a year because he is a big baby and ducked GGG. Hypocrites. You know who you are.

He has exactly what GGG needs for a KO. No power, stationary and short.

Little Red will have to go into seclusion after his frail ego is splintered.
