  • Comments Thread For: Carlos Adames Drops, Decisions Carlos Molina For WBA Regional

Carlos Adames picked up the biggest victory of his career with a dominant performance over former IBF junior middleweight world champion Carlos Molina, who offered a good performance, but not good enough to overcome the rising slugger. The event was staged at Hotel Jaragua in Santo Domingo, with Adames retained the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedelatn welterweight title for the third time, with scores of 110-98, 109-99 and 110-98.

Nice W for this Adames guy I'm not familiar with. Adding him to my boxrec watchlist.

Future world champion right here... I had mentioned him as a prospect to keep an eye on in a "best prospects" thread last year. It would be nice to see him fight in the U.S. and get more exposure.

Yeah, the same guy Kirkland needed a disqualification to get a win.

He's a dirty fighter that can turn every fight ugly.

Bundrage didn't seem to have any problems with him.

That's because Bundrage is kinda dirty himself and he's a better fighter.

He's just an awkward fighter that clinch a lot, headbutt, and land low blows.

It's not hard to beat him, you're just in for a tussle.

                    Link to this thread?

I need to catch up on some prospects cuz this guy wasn't on my radar at all, hell he wasn't on my map lol & I'm usually hip on guys on the come up even if I'm not a believer in them & I'm pretty sure I've never heard of this guy previous to today.
