Comments Thread For: Frampton: Selby is a Natural Fight To Make, The Timing is Right

Former two division beltholder Carl Frampton (23-1, 14 KOs) believes the time is right for a showdown with IBF world featherweight champion Lee Selby (25-1, 9 KOs). Frampton is back in action this coming Saturday night at the SSE Arena in Belfast, when he takes on Andres Gutierrez (35-1-1, 25 KOs) in a WBC world title eliminator.

Don't be surprised if it is announced post fight. I expect Selby to be ringside if he's sorted out his family issues.

It's definitely well overdue at this point. It would be nice if we could get Selby vs Frampton and Warrington vs Galahad, and then winner vs winner and loser vs loser

I don't see Selby walking away without a TKO defeat in this one

Always good to see Frampton's positive attitude, and no trash talk. He has respect for who he hopes to fight next (or soon) after this one Sat. Maybe not a 50/50 fight, but close.
