Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder's Manager: It Makes Sense To Fight Luis Ortiz!

Jay Deas, co-manager and trainer of WBC heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs), loves the idea of a fall showdown with undefeated contender Luis Ortiz (27-0, 23 KOs). BoxingScene.com reported earlier this week that both sides are in talks for a potential clash on November 4th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Need to call this fight, "No Judges Allowed"!

Ortiz is very schooled and experienced but he struggles if you don't make yourself too available and use movement with a quick jab!

Wilder is very powerful and fast but he isn't as schooled or experienced and he will struggle if you counter him over the top of his jab or can fight on the inside!

Wilder beating Ortiz puts the entire division on notice!

Its going to be really hard for Floyd Mayweather to get a job now that he is broke and his criminal record for beating women will look bad on his resume.
