    Mikey Garcia was surprised by how friendly Adrien Broner was toward him last month during the press conference in Manhattan to officially announce their fight. Broner was much more ornery Thursday when the fighters participated in a conference call to promote their 12-round, 140-pound showdown July 29 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn (Showtime). The former four-division champion said, "F*** the press,' and talked three times about wanting to hang up during a question-and-answer session with reporters.

          Hope to see both fighters healthy and in the best shape of their life... this will allow zero excuses after the fight to whoever loses. I'm rooting for Garcia, he has got a future... broner on the other hand win or lose he will party after the fight and more than likely lose his next fight... so undisciplined and hard headed... additionally I feel he is way over-hyped!!!!!

              Like both fighters but I have to lean to the less controversial and the one that seems more focused on his craft and that's Mikey G! Mikey G by unanimous decision

                              great fight. can't stand broner, but he's the better fighter. mikey better use defense big time because he's went down against lessor opponents. broner's shots are coming fast with power.

                                  I believe Mikey has more Drive and incentive for this fight than Broner the thug.. unless there's something physically wrong with Mikey I'm going with a late TKO stoppage...
