Compensation may have something to do with it, but having good cops standing for what's right and calling out evils, rather than simply defending every cop just because they're a cop, will go a lot further than folks think.
Being a cop is hard; having control over life/death decisions should never be easy. But that's why cops are held in the position they are.
Police Athletic Leagues (PALs) have done more to promote good policing than anything I can think of; cops get to know the kids in the neighborhoods that they service, kids get to know the "good cops", and you end up building durable community relationships that you can lean on when pursuing folks (no one wants crime in their neighborhood, but you've got to see people as people first).
Money helps; better engagement helps more.

This coon has done everything to gain their acceptance and they still bring up his domestic violence issues when he's on ESPN even though they've hired a domestic abuser for one of their top shows. And they never bring up De La Hoya's raping a teenager girl. They didn't bring up Manny's comments about gays deserving the death penalty and Manny supporting the extra judicial killing of drug abusers and innocent people simply accused of using/selling drugs. They don't love you Floyd and it's nothing you can do to make them love you. Even if you took the Sammy Sosa route they still won't love you.

I don't understand why people hate cops. If you are not breaking the law, they are nothing but over paid security guards.

Say what you want, unarmed black/brown people are still getting shot dead by police officers, police officers are still not getting charged, and the underlying frustration with black/brown lives still not seeming to be worth all that much is still present.Leave a comment:

Fair point on floyd though. Who cares about the three women that have been physically assalted by him or even Mrs Jackson when he violated her legal right to medical privacy when he posted her ******** paperwork. Here may be more women who have been assalted but only three are on his record.
I'm sure they all had it coming. Especially the one he slapped around in front of his kids. He must not have raised his son Right though cuz he was willing to testify against him in court.
Floyd really is a good guy and the media are in a crusade to keep him down. I can't stress enough. I'm sure all those women had it coming. Floyd gave hem what they deserved.Leave a comment:
