  • Comments Thread For: Mayweather-McGregor - There's No Rematch Clause in Contracts

NEW YORK If the almost unfathomable becomes reality next month, and Conor McGregor upsets Floyd Mayweather Jr., Mayweather won't work from his usual position of negotiating strength if he wants a rematch. Showtime Sports' Stephen Espinoza confirmed Thursday night before a press conference at Barclays Center that there is not a rematch clause in the contracts for their August 26 boxing match at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (Showtime Pay-Per-View; $99.95 in HD).

Obviously no rematch clause... When the poor suckers who bought into it realize it was a scam all along, they won't be too keen on getting suck in once more.

I meant a head butt cut not called intentional and they stop fight due to cut on Floyd he could have had rematch clause just for him like Canella did

Rematch? It's all fun and games right now but when mcgregor looks like a moron in there with no boxing skills and looks completely lost people are going to see what a joke of a fight this is. "And in this corner with a record of zero wins, zero losses and zero chance of winning this fight or getting a refund for you idiots connor mctapout"

Doesn't need to be. If Floyd loses his 0 is gone and even if he were to win a rematch, still 50-1. If Conor loses so what, he lost to a boxer.
