Kovalev is finished mentally and making 175, along whth getting up for a Barrera or Smith will be a problem. He should jump on the Stevenson fight now.

Stevenson v Ward at the end of the year with Kov v the winner of this fight, and then the two winners fight each other. That's the way it should be but it won't.

Also, isn't Kov moving up in weight?

Barrerra is with the same management as Kovalev, so that's easy to see getting made. If Smith continues to run around as a giant killer, I would expect Duva to avoid him and get Kovalev a softer matchup.
