  • Comments Thread For: McGregor Turns Up The Verbal Jabs as Mayweather Tour Nears

It's still early, but give Round 1 of the trash-talk battle between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to the Irish MMA star. A mural in McGregor's gym depicts the UFC showman landing a left flush to Mayweather's chin. McGregor has used that vision a few times as his way to needle the undefeated boxer since their Aug. 26 match was announced, even quoting "Rocky IV" villain Ivan Drago : "If he dies, he dies."

Verbal jabs and words and ignorance never won a big fight

Mini Conor will make $100 million off the Floyd loss so does it even matter that Conor loses the fight and is humiliated. You cannot humiliate or insult an Irishman anyway as they are too dense and dumb. Money talks loudly anyway and Cash is King and the Golden rule is in place. Potatoes for everyone.

The build up to this fight and the press conference should cost 100 dollars... the actual fight I don't think so.

Come Sunday morning there is going to be a lot of buyers remorse.

Boxing fans are whiny divas lol. It's an entertaining fight period because Conor will actually take more risks than Pacquiao did lol. Conor will take more risks than Canelo did.

Conor has no chance because even if he actually won - well.. we saw Pacquiao-Horn, Pacquiao-Bradley, Castillo-Mayweather, Holyfield-Lewis I, etc. he can't win...

The commentators will make it seem like Floyd is doing everything perfectly etc.

The bottom line is that Conor wins 1 or 2 rounds legitimately, but gets shut out on the score cards and is never in danger of even being knocked down... Floyd and Conor are both going to dance around and play counter-puncher - believe me but Conor will actually take chances and Floyd will move away whenever he does.

I'm going to say this and I hate to even have to say this...

Floyd has 0 chance of even scoring a knock down against Conor with 10 ounce gloves... Conor gets hit with 4 oz gloves and has never been dropped in a MMA fight.. He's been stung, but never been dropped and he was hurt by a guy who weighed like 190 at the time.

Fans on here thinking Floyd is going to stop Conor is actually funny... Floyd will fight the same defensive way he fought vs. Pac - he'll be less aggressive against Conor than he was even against Canelo...

Think Floyd vs. Baldomir... except Conor will take a few more risks, especially early on...
