Comments Thread For: Skeete: Get Me Pacquiao, I'm Confident That I Can Beat Him!

Ahead of the Filipino legend's BoxNation screened defence with Australia's Jeff Horn in Brisbane this weekend, the polished Penge pug divulged to Glynn Evans his secrets to snaffling the Pacman. "Firstly, I have to stress that my focus is completely on securing the Lonsdale Belt outright by beating Dale Evans at The Copper Box on July 8th. I'm only discussing Pacquiao because you're asking me to comment.

Is this a prank? The article is all quotes and it at no point mentions who is speaking.

very respectful from Skeete who sounds like a Pacquiao fan.

Tbh, I don't mind seeing Pacquaio in with this level of opponent. Skeete is good but he is not a killer and Pacman is basically semi-retired. If he is doing this kind of world retirement tour Skeete would be a good Brit opponent.

Skeete is a decent fighter but a domestic level one without a doubt. I can see this happen if Pac/Arum/TR are all serious about a world, farewell tour.

Skeete in the UK, a fight somewhere else and then a final bout against TC or Garcia in the US would be a nice way to go out.

I never heard of skeete or seen him fight before but i like this guy already, he just won me over with his honesty. He admits that he wouldnt fight pacquiao eight years ago, and knows he has the size and yout and style over this older born again chrsitian pacman. Id love to see him fight jeff horn after horn knocks out manny, but i say give pacquiao to skeete in uk that would be pacs last fight and he will be a stepping stone for skeete before skeete fights horn.

This dude skeete is a huge welterweight he is listed at around six foot one and might be a shade taller. He does have some good boxing skills and should be in the mix with the thurmans and spences if he can beat horn next
