Lomachenko will lose a lot of fans if he doesn't fight Rigo

If Lomachenko passes on this opportunity to prove himself against the best (when the cards are stacked in his favor to boot) he's going to lose a lot support... especially if he goes on to fight subpar opposition until he can land a big fight at a higher weight.

He has an opportunity now to prove he's a top p4p fighter, to make a historic fight for all the fans, to add to his legacy, and to test skills in way that will bring out the very best of him.

Lomachenko will simply never have another opportunity to fight another fighter as skilled as Rigo (and vice versa)

    No he wont

Hbo wont mention it and that is where most people get their information

Unfortunately, promoters can lowball fighters behind the scenes and then claim the other fighter ducked

There hasn't even been an offer yet so stop your whining.

Rigondeaux has no business at 130 imo, so if he's willing to fight Lomachenko at 130 and the fight doesn't happen that would be a shame for boxing.

Why do you think that is?

Actually, he won't. These Eastern Euro Stiffs bandwagoners are completely blinded by fanboyism.

Not into the details , but no matter what ppl here believe , you dont just open a mail and see an offer , you agree on both sides wanting the fight and then you get an offer (from the side that started the talks ,but not always) , so if Loma is not on board and not agreeing , what you want rigo team to do ? send spam mails with offers ? it doesnt work like that , what needs to happen is Loma`s teams says lets do it , show us what you got and then they will send the base line offer on which negotiations will proceed.
Also no one is whining , just pointing to the fact that we wont get another chance to see both fighters in the ring , Rigo is almost done and Loma is going up in weight.

The guy is already hated. Fake fans hate him.
You would wonder why they hate a boxing technician.
They even prefer come-forward Salido over him.
                  It's hilarious.

I disagree. The people that "stop being fans of a guy" for not fighting someone don't seem to do this in every circumstance.

They will just say Loma would beat Rigo anyway (which I think he would because of the size advantage coupled with his skill) and move on.
