I was wondering myself if we will see any Americans in the tournament. To add interest to the American audience.

CW is nearly all set and I can't think of any bar Hunter and Tabiti?
Who would probably exit at the first hurdle anyway.

At 168 we have Groves, Skoglund and Cox. Maybe a chance of Smith/Dirrell being a tournament fight.
So maybe a chance for them to get American fighters involved at this weight. Benavidez would be good..although i'm not sure just how likely that is.

SKOGLUND???? Are they serious? He's never fought at 168

Cruiserweight tournament looks great, but the super middleweight tournament sounds like trash so far.

Neither division has any Americans, and no one other than hard core boxing nerds have even heard of any of the fighters in either weight class. Makes me wonder why any American network would even be interested in this.

This is a glorified Boxcino tournament in my opinion.
