If you werent a newbie you would know that he is 18-0 and 22 years old, the same age and similar record as countless prospects who have stepped up and fought each other on PBC and ShoBox in equal matchups for for many years. He is overprotected, simple as that. Name ONE fight where he was even or near even in the odds.

DDLH has more then the name, he has talent. He is 22, boxing is a craft with a lot of risk and danger involved. What is your rush, most athletes peak at 26-27 by that time if this prospect keeps improving he should be near or at the top. You never hear anything negative about this kid. No weight issues, no cops, no line up of baby mommas, no diva/social media BS...he stays busy fighting, and he fights on both coasts as well as international. I'm cheering for him to make it.

Damn this is a quick turnaround he just went 10 rounds what 5 weeks ago? This will be his 3rd fight in bascially 3 and half months. He only fought 3 times all last year. I think they rushing him to fight this weekend because they planning to get him on that Canelo PPV undercard or the ESPN card the night before Canelo. Rather then have him sit out from June to sept they squeezing in this July fight.

Golden boy prez said they looking to get him a title shot maybe as early as the end of the year. My guess they setting him to fight the winner of vargas/rios for the WBC title.
