  • Comments Thread For: Wilder's Manager: We Want To Have All The Titles in 12 Months

Jay Deas, co-manager of WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (38-0, 37 KOs), is hoping his boxer secures all of the remaining titles within the next twelve months. Anthony Joshua of the UK holds the WBA, IBO, IBF belts, while Joseph Parker is the WBO world champion. Wilder is without an opponent at the moment. Joshua will return in the fall, either in a rematch with Wladimir Klitschko or a mandatory defense against Kubrat Pulev. And Parker has a mandatory owed to Hughie Fury.

you guys gotta stop moving the goal posts. if wilder only fights bums, but then joshua defends against a guy wilder already knocked out, that means joshua fought sloppy seconds bum. beating klitschko doesn't change that.

Was hoping you'd pop in here, your sig cracks me up man!!

Jay Deas, co-manager of WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder says, "But the truth of the matter is that Deontay wants the biggest fights whatever the biggest fights are.”

Hey I believe the guy. I'm not talking resumes, I think Wilder wants any name in the top 10. I give the bomber a shot at these guys as well. There's a few I would favor over him but only a handful. I'm ready for the dude to step up and show us what he's got.

Haha he just wants a slice of pizza before his fight starts lol.

I don't hate Wilder.. I wish he was able to fight Parker so both AJ and Wilder become unified champs and then they can fight each other for the undisputed HW title.

But Wilder seems to me making all the wrong moves. Parker's team are going for fights against Hughie and Bellew so they can get a shot at AJ. I am positive that AJ will end up facing Parker next year and he'll get another belt while Wilder will be left fighting guys like Breazeale.

I hope I'm wrong but it looks like that's what's going to happen.

i was actually 1 of the guys saying joshua needed to step up his level of opposition before the klitschko fight. Now that he has in half the time of Wilder its just makes ur boy look even worse. Povetkin would have shown his true quality but alas the russian was on peds
