    Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez has not been one of the most active critics of the recently announced bout between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. Canelo said that he still has a great deal of respect for both athletes, but he doesn't agree with their fight. Mayweather and McGregor finalized a deal to fight each other in a boxing match on August 26th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

      Lol this dude just took part in one of the biggest mismatches I've ever seen he's in no place to talk. He's just jealous he's not in the biggest fight of the year anymore.

            even though i'll never count this as a 50th for floyd this is a 5-way entertaining money making event between las vegas, showtime, mayweather,UFC and mcgregor. this has nothing to do with the great sport of boxing. canelo needs to focus on not GTFKO by lil G.

                  This fight has zero impact on boxing atm. I could see a situation where kids potentially walk away thinking boxers are superior, but that momentum will be limited due to the video game issue.
