I never liked the idea of this comeback and him going straight in against the best of the division would have been downright ******.

I hope Kessler reconsiders his comeback entirely.

Respect to Kessler for opting out. Letting Kessler be a wild card after so long out of the ring seemed like the worst move WBSS had made since its inception & not all that great a situation for Kessler to be thrown into. So I'm happy about this news.

I wouldn't hate Kessler being a sub who might get entered in the tournament later on if someone is injured. But f#ck man putting Kessler in a position to fight 3 of the best guys in the division in a 9 month window after a 4 year layoff just seems like a bad plan all around & a lose lose situation for everyone except the promoter who'll obviously be able to sell tickets off of Kessler's name I'd assume.

Also the WBSS should be touching base with guys in the future so they don't got a situation where they are saying a guy is in a tournament on Wednesday & they opt out on Thursday or whatever the timeline was here. Thats a bad look for everyone.
