Comments Thread For: Ward: I Don't See How Mayweather-McGregor is a Bad Thing

While some may disagree, IBF, WBO, WBA light heavyweight champion Andre Ward believes the upcoming blockbuster bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor is good for boxing. After months of teasing, Mayweather and UFC star McGregor finally confirmed their hotly anticipated showdown will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 26.

Exactly Ward. The same people who are hating but will watch the fight anyway want to see you lose. Don't like Haymon, Wilder, and was rooting against Spence.

We know what time it is. They will cry like the bytches they are. Comment on every article are most of the articles how they don't like the fight, this shouldn't be supported. Yet when fight night comes them f@ggots will be watching.

    Too easy to predict.

"We know what time it is." WE? What, you carryin' 'round yet another horsey road apple in your back pocket again? Bwaaaay, didn't your folks tell you that's ignorant and nasty? LOL!!!!!

Dig, bubba, outside of some trailer trash casuals and some coke snorting semi rich 30 somethings, the PPV #s will be nothing like Oscar/Floydie or Pacman/Floydie. It's nothing more than a circus act with nothing but dollar signs written all over it. I know I sure won't be wasting time or money on it, that's for certain. And I'm definitely not alone. And if we thought Floydie was the King Ducker before, geez, this is even worse than Berto. A guy who's NEVER boxed before, and you watch, Ducker Floydie will get his 50-0 b.s.... when this SHOULD just be an exhibition. This is just Duckman playing the sport for fools. Nothing more.

Again, I don't think many of the people giving their opinion are thinking about how everyone is going to feel on 8/27 and beyond.. Floyd can come out of it clean if he goes for the kill and ends it early. Everyone else involved will have crap on their face.

from a fan point of view I think it all good I think people who care are those who make money from boxing.

They feel like casuals were turned off by may vs pac 2 and they stopped viewing boxing and now they coming back for May vs Conor but they expecting some WWE brawling type of fight but its just gonna be anotehr mayweather schooling that casuals ahte to watch and its gonna turn off casuals again.

but like I said from a fan point of view Ive been hoping this fight took place. Its gonna be a fun ass event and build up.

Game recognize game. Refreshing candor from Ward, shows he's not a bitter hater like Oscar and co. even though the timing isn't doing Ward/Kovalev any favors.
