Comments Thread For: Lee Selby Promises To Punish Barros on Eubank-Abraham Card

Lee Selby is out for revenge against Jonathan Barros after again agreeing to defend his IBF featherweight title against the Argentinian this summer. The two are to meet at the Wembley Arena on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jnr's super-middleweight fight with Arthur Abraham on July 15, six months after their scheduled meeting was cancelled at 24 hours' notice.

This is shaping up to be a pretty solid card actually. July 15th is going to be a great day of boxing and I'm not going to get to see any of it. ****!

He still won't mention Gary Russell Jr's name.

Yeah, I don't get it. Russell beats all the top contenders like the great Patrick Hyland and the feared Escondon. He's blazing a path through the division.

Wouldn't put an Irishman against a Welshman in London. Best placed on the Joshua/Klitschko card if its in Cardiff.

im not too familiar with the british political geography lol.. I was assuming selby vs frampton could sell out the o2 possibly... I dont really care where it happens though... Selby needs a big fight asap! He has waited around long enough

Barros isn't much of a threat. He's probably five years past his best and a silly mandatory. Selby ought to win pretty easily and hopefully go on to bigger fights

GRJ is the best win on Lomachenko's resume.

But when it's time for GRJ to get a unification suddenly he isn't worth crap and just fights TBAs.

I'm not sure if it's true or not, but I heard Russell was moving to 130Lb.
