Comments Thread For: David Haye Fined 25,000 For Conduct Prior To Tony Bellew Fight

David Haye has been fined 25,000 by the British Boxing Board of Control for his conduct in the build-up to his defeat by Tony Bellew. The heavyweight repeatedly made severe threats against Bellew's life prior to their 4 March fight at London's O2 Arena. At a fight-week press conference he also called sections of his rival's supporters "f****** ******s" in response to their taunts, some of which he claimed were racist.

Haye and Bellew could both retire from boxing and be respected. Both have achieved more than Deontay ever will

lol, Wilder stays on people's mind.

      Same with Mayweather.

The thread has nothing to do with them yet people still bring them up.

I think this is pathetic by the BBBC, Bellew was the one who was instigating everything. Talking trash, calling him out, and was the one who first pushed him before Haye threw the punch, all for pre hype press to help sell the fight. Of course Haye would defend himself and not get punked by this guy, any human would.

Bellew got lucky he beat a guy with one leg, and that crap is going to his head. Up untile round 6 Haye was whooping him on the cards. Now this idiot thinks he can beat Wilder, clown won't last 8 rounds with his KO power.

I think it's incredible the pass Wilder has been given it's historic for the sport. Seriously folks imagine if AJ or Parker had that 38 fight resume over 9 years... Let that sink in
